Kathy Ginn - Testimonials
When I first visited Kathy, I was up tight and closed to touch. She held my head for what seemed like forever and I kept wondering when she was going to actually "do something" with her hands. My mind and body were not open to trusting in her touch and yet, my soul liked what went on during that time and I wanted to come back for more. Five years later, I relish that "head holding" and look forward to her gentle voice encouraging me to find my breath, let my head be heavy and receive her warmth. What a blessing to have her healing touch as part of my cancer journey - she truly has a gift."

I am an older woman who has been getting massages with fairly consistent regularity over the past twenty years. Before finding Kathy I had experienced many massages with a variety of practitioners. After beginning with Kathy about fifteen years ago I haven't had a desire to go anywhere else. Kathy is uniquely gifted, trained and experienced. Her sensitivity, knowledge, comprehension, gentle touch and wide variety of skills are unusual. Her presence is warm, inviting, non invasive and grace filled. Just being with her in therapeutic massage is healing and life affirming. She seems to sense what is most needed and useful to me every time. She has the ability to create an environment that allows me to be present to the process in a way that produces great benefit to body and mind. When I get a massage from Kathy and pay attention to how I feel physically and mentally beforehand, I recognize a noticeable and holistic shift when I leave. It is hard to delineate all of the ways and times that receiving a massage from Kathy has made a significant difference in the way I feel and move and heal. I feel fortunate to have had her as a part of my life journey over the years. I could not recommend her more highly.

To have one’s body in a state of relaxation and connection is truly transformative. As a victim of child sexual abuse I have struggled to be connected to my body in a respectful and nurturing way. I remember the first time Kathy said to me, “your body is your beloved partner”. What did she just say? Oh I don’t think so, we are just workers sharing the same office space. A struggle I have attempted to fix for years with therapy, self-help books, and various other avenues. These therapies’ gave some relief but never got to the core. I really wanted to truly love myself from within so that I can manifest that love in the world I create around me.
One of the ways I learned to cope growing up was to disconnect with my body. This was necessary for my survival and was at that moment the best way to take care of myself. But this is not the best way to live. So when I heard about Kathy and her work I was very eager to see if this was the next step on my journey. It has been over a year and I can say it has transformed my life.
My work with Kathy allows me to slow down the outside noise and listen to my inner voice. To see what my needs are at this moment and work out a plan to meet those needs. I encourage you to take the chance and let Kathy help you on your journey. To be with one’s self is truly the greatest gift of all.

I reconnected with Kathy after my husband died. I was looking for a way to release some of the grief that was weighing so heavily on me. I had no idea that the work would be so much deeper. I now feel my light shine like never before. Each session begins with a conversation about what I need that day. Many times once we start talking I discover my needs are very different than what I came through the door thinking. Kathy has a special way of listening and working with the body to accommodate its needs. She lets my body be heard and healed through her touch. Some days, it's simply the release of stress. More often, something magical happens.
